I love this place's tofu spring rolls and the prices are great. However, today marks the second time I drove out of my way to patronize this business and it was randomly closed hours before its stated closing time.
The cashier was counting money when I arrived today and informed me that they had closed early. When I asked why they were shutting down two hours early, he told me it was as because they were having a meeting.
Decent food, good prices, and generally friendly staff. But professionalism and customer service is lacking. Luckily, Pho Hoa is just a block away and can satisfy the craving. Please get it together, y'all. -

Saigon Bistro is located inside of Uwajimaya's food court. My office building is right across the street so I find myself in this food court for lunch at least once a week. Today I was feeling a sandwich and wasn't trying to spend an arm and a leg.
The Bành Mí beef sandwich I got was only a little bit over $5 and was pretty tasty. It was a great size and I don't feel like I needed to order anything else. This was my first time eating here and I am satisfied. Instead of paying $9 or $10 on other fast sandwich places, I highly recommend Saigon. The other plus side was my sandwich was made in less than 5 minutes and I was able to take it on the go back to my office or to a location outside to enjoy the weather. I will for sure be back for lunch to try the Pork and Chicken sandwiches. -

Bánh mì sandwich was reasonably priced, so I ordered one. Was shocked about how little filling was inside. Could almost hear one worker advise another (younger sister?) on how to make the sandwich--presumably to put the LEAST amount of ingredients that one could get away with and still have something more or less recognizable to sell. See the pic for what I mean: it would be funny if it weren't so tragic. Another customer who just ate one came up to me and confided that the sandwiches were kinda small, eh? Uh-huh... and I for one won't be going back anytime soon. Had my share of Bánh mì, most good and savory, but this one definitely rates an Eek!

The baguette wasn't toasted so it was chewy. No special sauce, only mayonnaise. The pickled Carrots were not pickled long enough. There were no pickled Daikon, but sliced onion instead which I really didn't like about. The pork was minimum amount.
The price is reasonable, but this is not a Bahn Mi I like. -

Fine food court fare.
Chicken pho and spring rolls.
Service is friendly and quick.
Taste is decent but bland.
Next time, I would try another vendor.
